16101 My favorite shows are the ones where the band is out of control. This is a great example of that phenomenon. The first set particularly sounds like the entire band is lit up on some mysterious substance. Bird Song turns into a heavy metal romp in the jam, complete with Jerry power chords! They are really tapped into something special in this period of shows stretching across much of the western US. Setlists are sensible yet solid and the playing is mindbending.
